This is a short intensive course which has the sole purpose of preparing applicants to Colleges of Education for their Irish admission interview. The course lasts for 9 hours, running from Saturday at 1.30 pm - 6 pm and on the following Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm. It is held twice a year: On the first weekend in May to prepare applicants for the B Ed admission interview and on the first weekend in December to prepare applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Primary Education admission interview.

The May Course...

...is held on the first or second weekend in May each year in Halla Phobal Chléire, our local community hall. It runs from Saturday 1.30pm to Sunday 3pm. The 2010 course is scheduled for the 8 & 9 of May. Cost for course is 150 euro, online study materials included. Minimum number of participants is 4, maximum 9.

The December Course...

...is held on the first or second weekend in December each year in the Old Coastguard Station in Inníor (South Harbour). It runs for 9 hours starting Saturday 1.30 pm and ending Sunday 3 pm. The 2009 course will be on the 5 & 6 of December. Cost is 150 euro, online study materials included. Minimum number of participants is 4, maximum 9.
